LONDON WESTFIELD HAUL: SOAP&GLORY + H&M

 H&M cardigan - £19.99
(A zip up cardigan! Never owned one of these!)

My sister recommended me this product before but I never got into the hype but I fished it out her drawer the other day, I used it for a few days, and surprisingly my hands are enjoying this product. I suffer from eczcema so it is difficult to find a moisturiser that works for my hand.

Loving:
1.Scent (It's a MUST to smell it)
2. Consistency
3. Packaging
4. The moisturiser sinks into my skin instantly

My heel is dry and ew! So I had to invest in a foot cream. I usually treat my feet so I thought it's about time. I have not used this yet, so I'll be experimenting with it tonight.

AMAZING! Heaven in a jar. I used this earlier and my skin felt so smooth!
- Smell like lime.

Popped into Boots and bought Soap&Glory products and found out they have 3 for 2 promotion. I had to get my hands on this great deal!
Also had a SNOG (frozen yogurt), I had a 'Natural Classic with Straweberries and a Jumbo Cookie'. Been craving this all week!
Until next time, CL xxx

Feeling discouraged to study...

Times when we feel discouraged to work. There definitely will be times where we will feel today is not the day to study/work. I believe we all want to achieve excellent grades or do the best we can do! We don't want to be failures! Hands down... I can honestly say I am one of those people who sometimes don't feel like working so I slack.

I think keeping organise will definitely help! I went to Tescos a few weeks ago and bought this 2012-2013 planner diary. What I suggest is everytime when you have homework/work to do due by a certain date write it in RED so you know you have to do this; If there is an event then write it in either blue/black as you can see from the above image.

I always think keeping myself hydrated is essential. Keep some healthy snacks and drinks at the side so you won't be running to the kitchen every half an hour wanting a snack. Also when you're bored you tend to eat so I keep a few bites near me.

My aim is to study 3/4 hours a day. For example, I can study 1 hour then have a 15 minute break and come back to work for half an hour and break and so on. It doesn't matter if you work every hour and take a break or work in a pattern you are comfortable with. Just don't be ridiculous and have a 2 hour break and only work for 10 minutes.
Also have a tidy desk! Have an area where it is free, you can sit there and relax and work. I'm still experimenting with this plan and hopefully I'll keep to it.

Good luck, CL xxx

My Current Skincare Must have!

My products that I have been using for this summer that I am loving!

1. Nivea - Pure & natural soothing day cream

2. Burt's Bees - Beeswax lip balm

 3. Johnson's face care - Daily essentials gentle exfoliating wash

4. Johnson's body care - 24hour Moisture

5. Hawiian Tropic - Silk hydration protective sun lotion

Product No.:
1. My skin is combination/oily in the summer and combination/ dry in the winter, so it is difficult to find a suitable all year round moisturiser. I found this a few months ago and this is a little heaven in a jar for my summer skin. This does not block more pores and it does its job, it also smells lovely! WIN WIN!

2. Who hates dry 'crispy' lips? haha. I use to pick my dry lip skin when I had it (ew!). This is minty which I love, it gives that fresh minty lip tingle when you apply it; You can really feel it working. I always keep one in my bag and one in my room so I'll always have one in hand.

3. This product is a new love. I use it every day (if I remember). This is gentle enough to use everyday to scrub the bacteria and dirt off my face. As I am still in my younger years, I still get those few spots so I try to keep my face as clean as possible but not over cleaning my face.
I think exfoliating is very important but many people do not exfoliate, especially if you are a teen your skin will probably be producing a lot of oil so I reccomend this product.

4. Tell me. Are you too lazy to moisturise? I was/am! I never use to moisturise daily because I was simply too lazy! Till a few months ago I went into Boots and decided to make a change. This lotion is very light and sinks into your skin very quickly. It also smells delicious! It does the job and bought in a price range I agree with. So I'd definitely buy this product again when I run out!

5. Sun comes and goes here in the UK. At the moment it is very sunny and warm. I do enjoy this weather, however we do need to protect ourselves from the sun. I bought a bikini set on ASOS a while ago and this product came free. It protects me from the sun and it smells AMAZING! I think when you get the chance, you should go to Boots and have a sniff of this product. I can guarantee you'll love the smell. This moisturise and protect; The scent will also linger on your skin for an entire day.

That is my current skincare products.
Tell me if you tried any of these products/ reccomend me anything you think I'll love in the comments below!
Take care, until next time!

New Obsession: Models Own Nail Polish!

Left - Bubblegum. Right - Orange Sorbet
Left -Coral Reef. Right - Ibiza Mix
You also get a free box!
I'm actually addicted to 'Orange Sorbet', it is my favourite out of all the ones I picked out.

Free Bubblegum pink polish

Hey dolls, long time no see! I haven't posted on my blog for a long time. So I'd thought I'll reunite with my blog by starting with my new nail polish love!
So,  my sister and I went to Westfield London a while back, I'd say a month ago. I saw a Models Own nail polish booth by Topshop and I couldn't help myself to have a little browse. Well, as you have guessed, browsing eventually evolved to buying! haha!
The sales assistant was so nice and the promotion offer was amazing; You can buy 6 nail polish for £20 and you get the 'Bubblegum' nail polish free! You also get a free box as shown above, you get a lid as well but I have thrown mine away as I do not need it. Well, my sister and I decided to go halves, £10 for 3 each and we'll share the Bubblegum.
I am loving the 'Orange Sorbet', the neon orange attracts me in every way. I think it suits my tan hands. Now, I am on the hunt for a neon yellow. If you have any recommendation, leave it in the comments below!
The only problem I have is the 'Ibiza Mix', don't misunderstand. The polish is amazzziingg BUT because it is glitter it is a pain to remove, so that is a heads up if you are looking to buy it.

Recommend me any colours?
Until next time.

COLLEGE!!

Okay, I know I have recented blogging for ages! I feel guilty though I have been unbelievably busy. During end of August, my parents have been away which leaves me having to take their roles and look after my cousins, soon my friend came over and stayed for as long as possible. Then COLLEGE! I cannot begin to express my feelings towards college. I'm not use to this routine and some subjects are battling me, I'm considering if I should continue some subjects though I have only just begun.

If any one is interested to know I'm taking Law, Politics, Business Studies, IT BTEC and Law research. Three of the subjects are A levels and IT is a subs BTEC because it's all coursework base. I'm not too sure about Politics, I'd love to continue taking this subject however my knowledge of Poltics is minimal, we had a huge class discussion and I had no idea what they were talking about. However I know some other class mates are struggling too. What should I do?

I have been looking online for a AS Politics tutors however it is difficult to find a tutor that is situated in my area or the price is too high?

If anyone reads my blog, can anyone appoint me to anything: Where to find a tutor perhaps? What should I consider or EDUCATE me in POLITICS! please?!

Sorry but thank you, I had to rant to someone. I'm going to keep looking for a tutor....

Want Longer, Thicker, Healthier Eyelashes? yes please!

Right, lets begin with the history of my eyelashes.
- Short stubborn Asian lashes (1cm long)
- Light
- Thin
- Straight

Basically, it's invisible eyelashes. (haha) that's how I'd describe it. Of course I want long luscious and voluminous eyelashes. So, again I went online and did my homework and researched products that would make my eyelash grow in a decent price. I stumbled across "Mavala Eye-Lite Double Lash Night Treatment" it costs £10.50 (not too bad, compared to RapidLash). I'm so eager and excited for the results.

Lets try this experiment together and I'll do a review of the product (Hopefully)

The packaging, love squeezing the little white foam things. haha :L

Free sample product
The product itself.
The wand/applicator

My invisible eyelashes (haha well, my camera isn't that great but you can see my eyelashes if you actually stood that close to me)

Another view of my short eyelashes. Trust me it looks better in real life. However you can see how thin and short they are.

Okay, So from today I'll use this product. It's 00:15am right now, so lets say its Thursday 24th August night. A month later, I should see my final results! The product includes a list of instructions in various languages, I understand that I have to apply at night on clean lashes. Leave on all night; do this step for approximately 30 days to see best results.

I'm extremely eager to have longer lashes, if you have tried out this product before, please leave a comment below so I am read it and see your results :D
Also if I see any major changes in my eyelashes you'd be the first to know!

I thought I should let you know, I bought this product of Amazon.co.uk for £10.50 in total, I have no idea where you can purchase this product in stores however Amazon was absolutely magnificent for me. I think the price I paid is reasonable so take a browse.

Good  Night for now and I'll talk to you all later. :D

Home Made 'Nandos' Piri Piri Chicken, mmmmm!

So, it was my turn to cook dinner for everyone and I've decided to make Piri Piri Chicken, which is extremely easy and taste delicious. I got this recipe of SORTED; they have an online website and a youtube account where they teach you how to cook the chicken. It's very simple and they give great instructions.

SORTED PIRI PIRI CHICKEN COOKERY VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i80g8oNdo00&feature=BFa&list=FLz5Amh9X1sxt6EosvSINEMw&index=7

INGREDIENTS:
4 big cloves of garlic
olive oil (160ml)
red wine vinegar (60ml)
1 lemon, juiced
2 fresh chillies (more to less to taste)
tsp sea salt
sprig of thyme
1 small chicken (to cut for spatchcock)
handful of mixed salad leaves
chunky chips

INSTRUCTIONS:
peel the garlic cloves and stick into a food blender with the oil, lemon juice, vinegar, thyme, chillies and salt.
blend to a smooth marinade.
cut either side of the backbone with a pair of sharp shears and then remove the diamond-shaped breast bone from inside the cavity.
open the chicken up like a book and rub the marinade all over, inside and out. Leave in the fridge overnight if you can.
preheat oven to 180°C.
lay the spatchcock chicken on a baking tray and roast for about an hour until cooked right through and there are no signs of blood at the thickest parts of the bird. Check by cutting into a leg joint.
serve with plenty of fresh salad and some chunky chips.

Serves 2-4

The Process

Smelt so yummy!

Boiling New Potatos
I left my Medium size chicken in the oven for 55 mintues instead. I took the chicken out once the 50 mintues has went by, I cut the chicken to the desired pieces then put it back in the oven for an extra 5 minutes to ensure it's well done.

Which gave us this results!

I altered the recipe a little... it's coleslaw and ready made crispy salad with cheese on top.
I didn't think the chicken had as much flavour as I thought it would but it taste pretty good; I will definitely cook this again and experiment with the flavours next time.

Chilled Sunday Outing: Favourite Dim Sum Of All Time, OOTD & Mini Haul

So, I was planning to hit the hay, though I couldn't resist to switch on my laptop and begin typing again :D so here I am... Let's begin. Today I went for a family brunch at a chinese restaurant which sells delicious dim sum! I would like to share with you guys, my favourite dim sum of all time... (Drum roll, please)

...

This is apparently called 'King Prawn Croquette with Salad Cream' mmmmmm... It's basically crispy battered prawns with salad cream on the side. *Still dribbling*
(There was 8 orignally, I know there is 7 on the picture. I ate 5 of them hehe sssshhhh!)
In a warm sunny Sunday, we decided to have a little shopping spree! Which means hurting my purse... oh well, it's worth it. Decided to buy:

Always wanted to watch this, ngl Zac Efron had a huge role in my purchase

Yes, that's right! James Blunt. Love his music, been jamming to his music all day since I've got home. There's actually a little story behind the front cover of James Blunt' album, see if you can find out!
Last but not least, an OOTD! (Excuse me for wearing the same Aztec vest, I love it too much)

Washed out denim jegging, it's my favourite. So comfortable!

Excuse the bag of rubbish, oh yes... I've also bought new curtains that's the reason for the bag of rubbish.

Love the cone shaped earring. <3

All items are still in store, some are quite recent.

Top to Bottom:

Aztec vest - Forever 21
Leather buckle straps cardigan - New Look
Jeggings - H&M
Earrings - Forever 21
Nail Polish - Barry M

Also wore a messenger brown leather bag (H&M) . It's simple and comfortable! If you haven't already, visit Forever 21 in London Oxford Street, it's amazing! I love the clothing also it's not quite popular (yet) so not many people will recognise the statement pieces! :D

So today was a chilled Sunday, finished the day with the movie and jamming to James Blunt with a headache :( but anyways, I'm going to hit the hay now, sweet dreams oxox

Book worm? anyone? Book Haul -

Yes it is a train ticket card if anyone is asking,
it's because cool kids use them as bookmarks.
Absolutely adoring blogging at the moment, it's like getting a new toy as a kid and constantly playing with it until you get bored. Well, blogging is like that at the moment, hopefully I wouldn't get bored of it.
So... they main reason of this is to talk about BOOKS!
Right, so at the moment I'm reading 'The Time Traveler's Wife' Adored the movie and now I'm obsessed over the book, been reading a few chapters every week. If you haven't seen the movie, you certainly have to! I'm telling you, not reccomending you. You might need a box of tissues or I'm just a total softy who tears up on absolutely anything! haha
I'm half way through the book already, I'm currently on chapter 'II A Drop of Blood In a Bowl Of Milk' Exciting!

I'm not going to lie, covers on books has total purchasing affect on me,  愛 (love) the cover of this book! Though I bought this because of the movie. <3 (When people say 'Don't judge a book by it's cover', ooopps! I kinda do, LITERALLY)

www.amazon.co.uk is a pocket/purse/wallet (wherever you put your money haha) saver! They have a lot of books in stock in a reasonable cheaper price than retail. So I reccomend you to buy your books here. :) It's atleast £2-£3 cheaper. BARGAIN huh! Also I have to compliment their delivery service, fast, free and neatly packaged. OR you can purchase cheap books in charity shops, this is a great alternative option if you don't mind having a used book and it's for a good cause.

My recent purchase, can't wait to begin reading them all...

Well, I've read Berserk by Ally Kennen . The top one is Sarah Winman - When God was a Rabbit.

Read a chapter of  'the five people you meet in heaven - Mitch Albom' so far so good.

Can anyone give me a review of the books above? For some reason I want to read some crimes/ man slaughter books, just because I read a lot of 'lovey dovey' books and I want someting different and thrilling. Search for book reviews online if you don't want to buy books that you won't be interested in. I'll do a book review post of 'The Time Traveler's Wife' (hopefully, if I remember). Oh and would anyone like to read along with me? that sounds interesting, an online reading club. haha
